Homemade Avantgarde is a small independent music label, dedicated to people who appreciate unusual sounds.

In this spirit, the Mp3 compilation "On how a picture can sound"was released in 2003, including twelve tracks, each of which were inspired by (the inner beauty of) a work of art.

After a long break Homemade Avantgarde is back with the aim of producing and distributing the work of those bands and artists who want to challenge music in spontaneous and unusual ways.

“Dischi della Lepre” is a series which aims to provide space for such new works. Any profits made will be reinvested in the project.
